This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The S-3 Sokol is a twin-engine medium-sized general purpose helicopter designed and manufactured by PZL in Poland; the copter’s nickname, “soku,” means “falcon” in Polish. Its first flight was in November 1979, and mass production was begun in 1985. Poland has renewed some of the former Soviet helicopters owned and operated by its land, sea and air forces to W-3 variants, and it is also working on exports for both military and civilian use; as a result, the W-3 is being used by military, police and fire departments in many European countries.
This kit comes with photo-etched parts and decals for 4 different Czech Air Force versions; when completed, the overall length will be about 29.6cm, and the rotor will be approximately 32.7cm in diameter.
