This is an aircraft model kit assembled from parts made of wood, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.
The G.55 was designed by Fiat in 1935, and it made its maiden flight in 1937. There were problems with its speed and armaments in the early days of WWII, and it was used as a fighter-bomber rather than a fighter since 1941. The engine, cockpit, wheels, etc. are carefully reproduced, and photo-etched parts by Eduard are included, as are plentiful decals from Cartograf. Two types of canopies are included; one is vac-formed.
