This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

From the manufacturer:

The Mitsubishi A6M Zero gets all the attention and all the credit, but it was the Nakajima Ki43 that actually shot down more Allied pilots than any other Japanese aircraft. It was maneuverable, fast, and lethal. Like its more famous compatriot, however, the Ki-43 suffered from light armor and a lack of self-sealing fuel tanks. These two features together made the Hayabusa highly vulnerable to damage from enemy fighters. Limited edition kit features new cowling, exhaust, oil cooler, wheel, and fuel pipe resin parts, plus decals for two versions.
