1/72 Messerschmitt Me1101 (P.1101)

Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Reissue of the Dragon 1/72-scale P.1101 kit (labeled on the box as “Me1101”, which is incorrect). This release features the standard tail, not the V-tail included in some previous issues, but does include some photoetched parts for the instrument panel and side consoles. A reasonably detailed engine is also included, which is good as it is visible inside the main wheel bays. Four X-4 wire-guided air-to-air missiles are also included. Two suggested painting options are shown in the instructions, but since Dragon has provided two full sets of side numbers (in black and red), don’t feel constrained – this is Luft ’46 after all!
