This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Limited reissue of the highly-regarded Fujimi 1/72 scale F-14A kit with Cartograf decals to mark it as either a VF-21 aircraft with large “Bill the Cat” tail flashes (“oops, ack, baby”) or a VF-124 aircraft with large “Fightertown USA” tail flashes. Also included is an all-new expanded photoetch detail parts sheet, containing radar dish, seat details, canopy latch detail, chaff buckets and many, many more parts. Even tie-down chains! Also included are white-metal landing gear struts and wheels, seats and sidewinder misile bodies (fins are on the photoetch sheet) and rubber tires. Of course, the regular plastic landing gear is included as well. Add in a full weapons load (Sparrow, Sidewinder and Phoenix missiles), drop tanks, TARPs pod and separate engines on trailers and you have everything you need for a very comprehensive Tomcat display model.
