This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue of the excellent Hasegawa 1/48 scale F-14D kit with decals to mark it as either of two Tomcats of VF-2 “Bounty Hunters” on their last cruise with the type, aboard the Constellation: the colorful NE 100 CAG bird and NE 101, the CO’s aircraft. 101 carries basically the same markings as the CAG bird, but done in shades of gray instead of bright red, white and blue.
