1/48 E-2C US Navy Hawkeye

Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

We believe this is the first-ever tooling of the E-2C in 1/48 scale, and what a kit it is. Surface detail is a mix of recessed panel lines and delicate rivets plus some raised panels, antennas and reinforcement plates. Includes full cockpit detail, an open boarding hatch with enough detail inside it to satisfy prying eyes, intake trunking for the engines, detailed landing gear and bays, optional position flaps, optional parts to build the wings folded or extended, rotatable radome and four-bladed props. Decals are designed by Fightertown Decals and printed by Cartograf, and are for “NG/601” of VAW-112. Instructions are of the exploded-view pictorial type, with notes in English.
