The F-84 was developed in the United States as a successor to the P-47, and is a jet fighter used mainly in Western countries during the Cold War. The F-84 is classified into the F-84A to E/G Thunder Jet with straight wings, and the F-84F Thunder Streak with swept wings. Including the reconnaissance aircraft type RF-84F Thunder Flash, a total of 3,426 Thunder Streaks were produced, of which about 1,600 were provided as successors to the allies that operated the Thunder Jet.
