V-Tailplane
The V-tail was invented by Polish aeronautical engineer Jerzy Rudlicki.
The diagonally installed rear portion of the tail serves as both a directional rudder (rudder) and an elevator, and is sometimes referred to as a rudder elevator.
Compared to a normal tail fin, the number of tail fins is reduced, so aerodynamic drag and weight reduction can be expected.
