This is a resin detail parts set for use with aircraft kits.

An outstanding set to detail the landing gear and engine accessory bay of your Hobby Boss, Academy or even Testors 1/48 Bearcat kit. The accessory bay of the Bearcat was open and very visible on the F8F, and while the Hobby Boss kits offer the best out-of-box representation of this area this set is significantly more detailed and will be a very worthwhile addition to the Hobby Boss kit, to say nothing of the huge improvement offered to the inaccurate parts in the other kits. As complete, deep outer wheelbays are included some modification of the kit’s lower wing halves will be required to cut away the molded-in detail. Finally, as this set is intended for the Hobby Boss kit it makes use of that kit’s oil tank and engine bearers, parts that you will have to scratchbuild if using this set on another maker’s kit (as well as perhaps adjusting parts to improve fit).
