This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

In World War II and the Pacific War, the Zero Fighter continued to play an active role as the main carrier-capable fighter of the Japanese Navy. Mainly developed by Jiro Horikoshi of Mitsubishi, this aircraft was officially adopted in 1940. Before the start of the Pacific War, it demonstrated its performance in the Sino-Japanese War on mainland China. After that, it entered full-scale mass production. It’s equipped with an Eiichi Type 12 engine, capable of generating 940 horsepower and achieving a maximum speed of 533km/h. It was armed with two 20mm machine guns and two 7.7mm machine guns. Its advanced design with a reduced weight and sunk rivets gave it excellent maneuverability and aerodynamics; it had a cruising range of up to 3,000km or more by the use of drop tanks over the wide Pacific Ocean.

Platz’s new “Full Action” model kit series features parts that move after completion! The parts of this kit are made by F-Toys for ease of assembly. The inside of the nose cowl is modeled in detail, with the Eiichi type star-shaped air-cooled engine with separate parts such as the exhaust pipe; the cockpit interior, landing gear and landing gear storage, etc. are also molded in great detail. The windshield can open and close, the ailerons, elevators and ladders all move, and the landing gear can be taken in and out after completion.
