This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The RWD-8 was designed by the RWD aircraft manufacturing team in 1931 to answer the call for a new Polish military trainer aircraft. It was selected as the winner, and since RWD’s manufacturing capabilities were limited, it was mass-produced by the nationalized aircraft factory PWS. Over 550 of this monowing aircraft were produced by both RWD and PWS, with the last ones rolling out of the factory in 1939. After Poland’s surrender, the remaining aircraft were picked up and operated in Hungary and Romania, where they served until 1940. No examples of this aircraft survive today.
