This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Fine Molds brings us a series of 1/72-scale model kits of Zero Fighters! This is a mid-production type of the Mitsubishi Model 52, with multiple thrust-type single exhaust pipes protruding from the rear end of the cowling to the side of the fuselage. Waterslide decals are included for four aircraft: two from the 381st Navy Air Group, which was trained in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture and fought as an air defense force in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesian Archipelago), one from the 204th Air Group deployed to Rabaul, and one from the 253rd Air Group in Rabaul, piloted by Japan’s top ace Tetsuzo Iwamoto.
