The Handley-Page H.P.42 bipljne known as “Heracles” began life as an H.P. 45 version, but was converted to the 42. It was originally used as an airliner by the British airline Imperial Airways, and was noted for having logged one million miles while servicing the airline’s routes between Paris, Cologne and Zurich. It entered service with the RAF in March of 1940, but was destroyed by a gale within two weeks. Get this model kit by Airfix for your own collection today!
