This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit which includes some resin parts.

The C-1 is a medium-sized transport aircraft used by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force since 1973. Developed by the Technical Research and Development Institute of the Defense Agency and Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation, it made its first flight in November 1970 and began operation in 1973. It’s equipped with two Pratt & Whitney JT8D turbofan engines. Crew and supplies can enter the cabin by opening the rear door under the tail. The C-1 can transport 45 fully equipped paratroopers, 60 normal personnel, and 36 patients by standing metal rods on the cargo floor and attaching stretchers. Vehicles and artillery can be loaded on pallets, and they can be dropped from the air from the rear door; it can carry a payload of up to eight tons. By combining the front edge slats and the four-step gap fowler flap, it demonstrates high STOL (short-distance takeoff and landing) performance with a runway distance of about 600 meters required for takeoff. It continues to play an active role in various missions in Japan.
