This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
This kit from Platz reproduces the RF-4E Phantom II flown by the reconnaissance squadron at the JASDF’s base at Baili. Known as the Recon Phantom, this aircraft has protected the skies over Japan for a long time. It’s easy to assemble with a reduced number of plastic parts by F-Toys, and will be approximately 13cm long when completed. This aircraft’s final year of operation was 2019, and this kit includes decals by Cartograf to duplicate its “shark mouth” and other special markings developed to commemorate the occasion, as well as its sea-camouflage paint.
