This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
1/144 Spitfire Mk.Ia vs. Bf109E-4 “Battle of Britain 1940” 2-Kit Set
This set includes brand-new molds for one Spitfire Mk.Ia and one Bf109E. It features decals produced by Cartograf, representing Spitfire Mk.Ia of Lieutenant Gerald Stapleton from the No. 603 Squadron of the Royal Air Force, and Bf109E-4 of Captain Franz von Werra from the 3rd Luftwaffe Group.
The two pilots encountered each other on September 5, 1940, over Kent, England, where Stapleton emerged victorious after a fierce aerial battle. Both kits come with optional parts: the Spitfire can be assembled as either the Mk.I early version, Mk.Ia, Mk.I PR, or Mk.II; the Bf109 can be built as either the E-1, E-3, E-4, or E-7/Trop.
Additionally, the set includes paint mask seals.
