The F-22 Raptor is America’s state-of-the-art air superiority fighter, which has been deployed since 2005. Developed as a successor to the F-15 Eagle, it is a fifth-generation jet fighter with a unique form and a high degree of stealthiness, such as storing missiles and bombs in the weapon bay inside the fuselage. It carries two Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 engines, realizing super cruise capability with military output. It’s also equipped with following control radar of the active phased array system, and its network function is also enhanced, possessing high capabilities as a new-era air superiority fighter. On February 4, 2023, an F-22 Raptor shot down a balloon that invaded the sky over the United States, attracting further attention to this spectacular aircraft.

This model kit from Platz accurately reproduces the F-22 Raptor’s characteristic form with high stealth performance; the parts are made by F-Toys, so they’re easy to assemble.
