In the sphere of modern conflict, electronic warfare has become nearly as important as actual physical combat. He who controls the flow of information in the combat zone largely controls the eventual course of the conflict. The YS-11E was a domestically-produced Japanese twin prop aircraft with General Electric engines for added power and range. The Japanese Air Self Defense Forces operate six electronic warfare/intelligence YS-11s plus an array of YS-11s for other tasks. This limited edition kit features new resin radome and antenna plus decals for two JASDF Electronic Warfare aircraft.
