This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Trumpeter retools their impressive Spitfire V kit to make the one-off (actually, three were built) floatplane Spit. The kit includes a new lower wing (sans wheelwells), modified fuselage with ventral strake, new floats, rudder and four-blade propeller. Parts for the beaching gear are also included. Decals are included for the prototype W3760, and two additional serial numbers, EP751 and EP754, are provided, although not called for in the instructions. Perhaps these are the other two airframes?
