Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Lots of options here! Trumpeter’s A-7E kit continues enough flexibility for an entire CAG and lots of detail to boot. The cockpit is incredibly detailed and includes photoetched belts and face curtain handle for the seat. The gear and gear bays are similarly well-done. Avionics bays can be modeled open like the Hasegawa kit, and an extended RAT is included. The boarding ladder and steps can be modeled lowered. All flight control surfaces are separate, but without those fragile photoetched hinges, so you can pose them in any position you choose. The outer wing panels are separate, and include full hinge detail if you wish to model them folded. They can of course also be attached in the extended position. The speed brake can be extended or retracted. A very impressive amount of ordnance is also included:

Markings are included for two aircraft, one from VA-82 Marauders aboard the Nimitz in 1978 and one from VA-192 Golden Dragons aboard the Kitty Hawk in 1972.
