Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

This kit was the other half of the Hasegawa-Revell joint project to produce a modern tooling of the Ar234 in 1/48 scale. This is the first time for the C model to come in a Hasegawa box (previously it was only available from German Revell). This builds up into a very nice and accurate model of the type, and includes RATO pods, drop tanks, and a 1000kg bomb. Optional parts are provided for cameras and clear belly ports for the C-4 reconnaissance variant or the aft-facing defensive belly cannons of the C-3 bomber variant. Decals are given for the 6th and 12th C-3 airframes, as well as hypothetical markings for “F1+AS” of 8./KG76, plus nose art for 9./KG76, 7./KG76, Stab.III/KG76, and an unknown unit (possibly also KG76), and code letters to build “F1+CS,” “F1+LT,” “F1+ER,” and “F1+AT” (all fictional aircraft).
