This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Hobby Boss follows up their 1/48 scale “early F4U-4 kit with this late version – the difference being the canopy and windscreen. This kit has the flat center windscreen pane and no head armor in the canopy. Includes drop tanks, HVAR and optional folded wings as well as markings for WS/18 of VMF-323 ‘Death Rattlers” and WR/13 of VMF-312 “Checkerboards” – however the decals are printed as “VMA-312”, which is incorrect. For marking details please see box image above.
