This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The A-8 was the most widely-produced Fw190, with 6,655 units made. Its most notable feature was the GM-1 nitrous-oxide injection system that provided a temporary power boost during combat. A portion of the A-8 was built as the A-8/R2, which was armed with MK 108 cannons on the outer wing, as well as armored slabs in the sides of the cockpit and a modified canopy.
