This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The F-5 is a fighter aircraft developed in the United States in the 1950s; the F-5B is a two-seat trainer. Canada acquired the licensed production rights for this machine, and made their own improvements; they manufactured it under the name CF-5D for Canada and NF-5B for the Netherlands. CASA (Construcciones Aeronauticas S.A.), based in Spain, also produced it under license as the SF-5B.
