This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
This kit of the P-51D/K Mustang is a completely new mold! Developed by North American Aviation, the P-51 Mustang featured the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, which greatly improved its performance, and it went on to become a major U.S. fighter aircraft. Nearly 150 of this aircraft were captured by China and used as the main fighter of the early Liberation Army.
Ease of assembly of this kit is emphasized by reducing the number of parts; key parts are slide-molded for the best detail reproduction. Accessories include a 500lb bomb, 75-gallon drop tank and 108-gallon drop tank. The propellers can be selected from a D-type Hamilton and K-type Aero; the exhaust can be built with or without a cover. Two types of upper-fuselage parts are included — with and without a loop antenna, and decals for 3 versions are included. Order yours today!
