This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

This kit from Dora Wings is a completely new mold! The P-43 is a prototype of the P-47 Thunderbolt; the prototype AP-4 was originally developed as an advanced version of the P-35, but is one size larger than the P-35. It became a high-altitude fighter with landing gear and a turbocharger at the bottom of the fuselage. It was equipped with a 1200hp R-1830 air-cooled star 14-cylinder engine with a maximum flight-tested speed of 565km/h, making it the U.S. military’s first fighter aircraft capable of 500km or more per hour. It was also able to climb more than 10,000 meters; this was proven in 1942 when it photographed the summit of Mount Everest from an altitude of 13,000 meters. Until the advent of the P-38, the only Allied aircraft capable of intercepting the Japanese Army’s Type 100 HQ reconnaissance aircraft was the P-43.
