This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Here’s a nice new-tool MiG-3 kit from Trumpeter. Surface detailing does a good job of showing the differences between the metal and wood sections of the original. The three-gun cowl is nicely reproduced. Interior detailing is superb, with beautifully done cockpit and landing gear. Underwing rockets are included. Markings are given for three aircraft: “12” and “95” in summer camouflage, and a winter camouflaged “7” with large black arrows on the sides and a patriotic slogan under the cockpit.
