This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
A reissue of a classic old Italeri kit. Surface detail consists of finely done raised rivets and a slightly overdone fabric effect on the control surfaces. Interior detail is basic by today’s standards but sufficient for the scale. Two styles of nose glass are included, and the dorsal and ventral gun positions can be extended and retracted. Decals are for 5 aircraft: one Italian Air Force, one Spanish Republican aircraft (flown by Italian volunteers), one German and two Japanese Army aircraft. Plenty of options, plus the unique subject make this kit a winner despite its age.
