Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the legendary WWII British Royal Air Force fighter, the Spitfire.

This kit specifically models the Mk.IX variant, equipped with the Merlin 60 series engine.

The kit parts are molded in plastic color-matched to British Air Force BS638.
With a completed length of approximately 130mm and a wingspan of about 155mm, the model faithfully reproduces the unique wing design and fuselage shape, down to the panel lines.
A clear canopy is included, allowing a view of the cockpit after assembly, and one seated pilot figure is also provided.

The landing gear can be assembled in either deployed or retracted position.
The engine is also recreated, with removable engine covers allowing you to enjoy its mechanical detailing even after completion.
Markings are included as decals.
