The Corsair is considered one of the best US Navy fighters of World War II, and was used from 1944 on aircraft carriers in the Pacific. Japanese opponents called it the “Whispering Death”. It was one of the few propeller aircraft still flying in the Korean War. Max speed: 684 km/h.
When completed, this model kit measures about 14.3cm long. The kit features a detailed cockpit, movable propeller, detailed landing gear, auxiliary tanks, 4 machine guns, and decals for one US Navy and one US Marine version.
