This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/72 scale F6F Hellcat kit with special parts to modify it as a -5N nightfighter. Decals included to mark it as either of 2 Marine aircraft: one from VMF(N)-541 with inspirational pin-up style nose art (see box photo) or one from VMF(N)-542, “Black Death” with a whiskey bottle on the nose. Good to see that even in wartime, the Marines kept their priorities straight! See box photo or art for marking details.
