Azur brings us a 1/72-scale model kit of the Fairey Battle aircraft that’s a completely new mold! The Battle is a single-engine bomber used by the British Army in the early days of World War II. The Battle first flew in 1936; it participated in actual battle from the beginning of the war, but it was already outdated at the time and suffered a lot of damage, so it was gradually withdrawn from the front lines in the latter half of 1940; after that it was used a a training aircraft and target towing aircraft. It should be noted that both the first shoot down of a German aircraft by a British aircraft, and the first shoot down of a British aircraft by a German aircraft, were both due to the Fairey Battle.
