The Gordon is a double-seat daytime bomber designed and manufactured by Fairey in the United Kingdom. Completed in 1931, the prototype, the Fairey III F Mk.V, flew for the first time that year. The Gordon, which used the Armstrong Siddeley Panther IIA air-cooled radial 14-cylinder engine, was operated in large numbers in colonies in North Africa and the Middle East, and also exported to New Zealand, Brazil and Egypt.
