Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

An older, but still nice, kit of the Jaktviggen. The Viggen series is the aircraft that defined the Swedish “look” for a generation of airplane fans: brutishly purposeful and sleekly futuristic all at the same time. The Heller kit is still the best model available of the Jaktviggen, and the level of detail is sufficient to look acceptable out-of-the-box, while leaving room for the superdetailers to go nuts. From the unused parts included, it seems one could build an SK 37 two-seater or a SF 37 reconnaissance aircraft easily enough. Markings are for aircraft 47 of 1 Jakflggdivisionen in 1992.
