Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Like the F-2A, the F-2B belonging to the Flight Development Experiment Team deployed at Gifu Prefecture’s Kakamigahara Air Base is a prototype at the beginning of development; Unit 101 is the third prototype and the first two-seat type. It is used to evaluate flight characteristics, flutter/spin, communication/navigation/identification, mission characteristics, and more, and is painted with red and blue on a white base to improve visibility. In addition, this unit is characterized by the installation of metal fittings on the tail of the fuselage in order to have a spin recovery parachute (commonly known as a spin chute) during the spin characteristics test.
This model kit from Fine Molds includes decals to reproduce the red/blue painted areas of the aircraft (except for some parts). Newly made parts are included for the spin chute mounting bracket. Order yours today!
