This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Based on Lockheed’s F-80 Shooting Star jet fighter, the T-33A Shooting Star trainer became one of the most widely used jet trainers in the world. The fighter was converted to a trainer by lengthening the fuselage and added a second seat. This 1/72 scale kit from Hasegawa captures the unique form of the T-33A Shooting Star with its characteristic wing tip fuel tanks and tandem-seat cockpit arrangement. The huge decal sheet includes markings for 25 different training aircraft.
