The Ka-52 is a two-seater attack helicopter based on the Ka-50 single-seat attack helicopter. It first flew in 1997, and is still in service with the Russian and Egyptian armies. The Ka-52 is unusual for a helicopter in that it is equipped with an ejection seat for crew evacuation. The instrument panel of this aircraft has a color LCD multifunction display, a temperature detection system for night attacks, a 30mm cannon, and four hard points for the ability to carry a wide variety of weapons.
