Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Ki-102a Kou is a twin-seat high-altitude fighter of which about 25 were produced; it was developed and manufactured by Kawasaki Aircraft. The first prototype was completed in June 1944; one was tested with an exhaust turbine, and three were tested without the exhaust turbine. It was armed with a 37mm machine gun carrying 35 bulletsw, and one 12.7mm cannon; it could also carry bombs up to 500kg. Malfunctions of the exhaust turbine made this aircraft ultimately unsatisfactory.
This kit features delicately molded panel lines and incredible detail! It also comes with decals for two versions: the Japanese Army, and captured by the US. Army.
