Adapted from the Hasegawa website:
In the China-Burma-India Theater, the Ki-51 “Sonia” found its niche as a strafing craft that could use rough landing strips and fly dangerous low-level missions. The armored Ki-51B variant of the “Sonia” added protection for the pilot and oil tanks to improve survivability. The Ki-48 was also in its element in Burma. There, its speed and agility let it outrun or outmaneuver early American and British fighters and its 800 kg bomb load sowed chaos amongst the defenders. This limited edition combo kit features two aircraft with Hokota Flying School decals for each.
Parts come molded in gray. Includes clear parts and decals.
