The La-5 was a single-engine fighter developed by the USSR’s Lavochkin Design Bureau during World War II. It took part in the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942. It was more maneuverable at low altitudes than conventional aircraft, and its agile response made it easy to recover from a stall, which enabled low-speed loops and Immelman turns. By the end of 1944, 9,920 of this aircraft had been produced.
This model kit from Clear Prop! includes a precisely reproduced cockpit and two types of canopies (opened and closed), as well as photo-etched parts and decals for three Soviet Air Force versions. Order yours today!
