The Learjet 35 is a business jet aircraft developed by Learjet, and is the first type in its series to be equipped with a turbofan engine. This aircraft has the extended fuselage and wings of the Learjet 25 to improve payload and cruising range, and it made its first flight in 1973. In 1976, the Learjet 35A, which increased the maximum takeoff weight by improving the main wing, joined the series, and recorded the largest number of sales in the Learjet lineup.
