Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit which includes some white metal parts.
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/72 scale S-3B kit with Cartograf decals to mark it as any one of three Vikings assigned to VS-21 “Fighting Redtails”: the aircraft of the commander of CVW-5 in colorful CAG markings, the aircraft of VS-21’s CO, in slightly less colorful markings, and a third VS-21 aircraft with lo-vis markings. This release also includes a nicely-done white-metal “buddy pod” air-refueling pod. S-3s are rarely seen nowdays without one, and the inclusion of this pod is a nice touch by Hasegawa.
