This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

The Spitfire Mk.V series required only minimal changes to the basic airframe of the Spitfire Mk.I & II. The main alteration was the fitting of a more powerful Merlin 45 series engine. MkVa’s were armed with the same 8 x .303-inch browning machine guns as the Mk.Is and IIs and were therefore quickly superseded by the Mk.Vb fitted with much more effective cannon armament.
Completed model measures 127mm long and 155mm wide.
