This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Hawker Tempest F.2 was developed for the Pacific War, and aimed to extend the Tempest’s cruising range by installing an air-cooled Bristol Centaurus V engine; however, the war ended before it could be deployed to any units. The leading edge of the left wing root was equipped with a carburetor intake, and the right wing root was equipped with an oil cooler intake.
