This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
A three-kit box set from Hasegawa containing the aircraft used in the mission to kill Admiral Yamamoto over Bougainville in April of 1943. Contains one each “Betty” model 11, A6M3 Zero Model 22, and P-38G. The Zero is a newer kit with recessed panel lines, while the “Betty” and P-38 have raised panel lines. Markings are given for Yamamoto’s “Betty” “323,” Ugaki’s “Betty” “326,” Zeros “T2 169” flown by Kenji Yanagiya and “T2 165” flown by Shoichi Sugita, and three 339th FS P-38s: Rex Barber’s “147/Miss Virginia,” Thomas Lanphier’s “122/Phoebe,” and “110.” See box art for marking details.
