This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Limited re-release of this truly bizarre experimental 1944 aircraft that never even flew (the original still exists in the National Air and Space Museum’s Garber Preservation Facility). Research into the design was cancelled due to waning interest in propeller-driven aircraft in the early jet age. Considering its relative historical insignificance, the quality of this tooling is remarkable. The kit was designed and tooled in 1992 by an organization called “Hobby Spot U” and marketed through Hasegawa. Recessed panel lines and good surface detail throughout the kit. Shigeo Koike box art.
