This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Having the distinction of being the only enemy aircraft to ever drop bombs on the American mainland, the Type Zero (“Glen”) was a submarine-borne recon. seaplane developed in 1939, and powered by 340hp nine-cylinder air-cooled radial. It saw action throughout the war.
Fujimi’s kit is a little gem. Excellent, crisp detail on all parts and a very nicely done fabric-covered fuselage effect. Comes with a couple of little bombs and also includes the launching rails for use in display.
This release of the kit includes decals to mark it as the actual aircraft that succeeded in bombing the U.S. mainland.
