This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
An all-new tooling of the K5Y1 Japanese Navy trainer, often known colloquially as the “akatombo” (red dragonfly), in common with the Army Ki-9 trainer. Includes photo-etched details for the cockpit such as belts and instrument panels. Decals are given for two green and trainer orange aircraft, one each from the Takao Kaigun Kokutai and Miho Kaigun Kokutai.
